Estonia

Estonia’s national day is February 24, Independence Day.

Estonia's embassy brings a fascinating Nordic perspective to D.C.'s cultural scene, celebrating a nation where medieval Old Towns meet cutting-edge digital innovation and centuries-old traditions blend with modern creativity. Even when formal events aren't happening, you'll find the Estonian community quietly making waves through film festivals, classical music performances, and design exhibitions that highlight everything from traditional folk textiles to Estonia's pioneering role in digital governance. If you're curious about Baltic culture or want to experience something that feels refreshingly different from the usual embassy circuit, Estonia's vibrant artistic heritage and unique blend of Scandinavian and Eastern European influences make it worth following closely.
