Haiti’s national day is January 1, Independence Day.

The Embassy of Haiti brings vibrant Caribbean energy to DC with celebrations of Haitian culture, cuisine, and diplomatic achievement that you won't want to miss. If you're passionate about food, you'll love their participation in events like the Embassy Chef Challenge, where Haitian culinary traditions take center stage, while their diplomatic receptions offer a window into Haiti's important place in the Americas. This is your go-to spot for authentic Haitian experiences and meaningful cultural exchanges right here in Washington.
