Samoa

Samoa’s national day is June 1, Independence Day.

The Embassy of Samoa brings the warmth and rich traditions of the Pacific islands right to your doorstep, offering a wonderful window into Samoan culture through occasional cultural celebrations and community events. While formal embassy events can be sporadic, you'll discover the vibrant spirit of Samoa through traditional music, dance, and cuisine that occasionally grace D.C.'s cultural calendar. If you're drawn to Pacific island heritage and want to explore the unique customs and artistic traditions of this beautiful nation, keeping an eye on Samoa's embassy announcements is definitely worth your while!
