The GHI Research Seminar offers a biweekly forum for scholars to present and discuss their ongoing research. This session features Christiane Hoth de Olano, a GHI Washington scholar, who will lead a discussion on "Knowing Waters, Governing Empire: An Environmental History of the Caribbean."
This seminar brings together international researchers, D.C.-based scholars, and GHI research fellows to foster intellectual exchange across diverse historical problems, epochs, and methodologies. Discussions are based on either project presentations or pre-circulated papers.
