Join us for a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to create and decorate your own Catrina crown, inspired by one of the most iconic symbols of Mexican Día de Muertos celebrations.
This workshop is part of the advance programming and preparation for the Catrinas Parade DC, an annual cultural celebration that brings the vibrant tradition of Catrinas to Washington, D.C. on October 31st. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this tradition, get creative, and prepare your own unique piece to wear and celebrate with.
The workshop will be led by Erika Romo and Josie Valdez at the Mexican Cultural Institute. The cost is $30 per person, and all workshop materials are included. Capacity is limited to 35 participants, so be sure to register soon!
