Women’s Cancer & Wellness Awareness Day

The Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center invites you to a special afternoon focused on women's health and wellness. This event highlights breast cancer awareness, prevention, early detection, and the importance of informed care through a program of expert insights and personal stories.

The program includes a community resource table available throughout the event, offering screening information, brochures, and support resources. Attendees will hear from Dr. Angelis Vazquez Perez, a Breast Surgical Oncologist from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, who will discuss breast health and cancer awareness. The event also features a powerful survivor's story shared by Ms. Roxana Guerra, a cancer survivor and advocate, followed by an audience Q&A session.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required through Eventbrite. The dress code is business casual. Light refreshments will be served during registration, and a wellness reception with a light lunch, conversation, and take-home resources concludes the program.
