Filipino Food Festival: Kamayan Feast was a food & drink event hosted by the Embassy of Philippines in Washington, D.C. It took place on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Embassy of the Philippines. Admission was $25. Nearest Metro: 7-min walk from Dupont Circle (Red).

About

Join the Embassy of the Philippines for an authentic kamayan feast, where you'll experience the traditional Filipino way of communal dining — eating with your hands. This centuries-old practice brings people together around shared platters of food served on banana leaves, creating an intimate and cultural dining experience.

The feast features beloved Filipino dishes including lechon (roasted pig), adobo (the Philippines' national dish of meat braised in vinegar and soy sauce), crispy lumpia spring rolls, and halo-halo, the iconic Filipino shaved ice dessert. All dishes are served family-style on banana leaves, encouraging conversation and connection as you dine.

Tickets are $25 and the event takes place at the Embassy of the Philippines. RSVP is required through Eventbrite to secure your spot at this unique cultural and culinary experience.
