Paul Lay Concert

Lay has built an international career defined by strong artistic vision and creative versatility, performing regularly in New York, Berlin, Tokyo, and Mexico City. As both composer and arranger, he develops original projects at the crossroads of jazz, symphonic music, and multidisciplinary creation. Recent highlights include contributing to the soundtrack of Ravens (presented at the Cannes Film Festival), creating Waves of Light for jazz trio and chamber choir, and premiering his symphonic reinterpretation of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

Through acclaimed projects such as The Party, Deep Rivers, Full Solo, and L'Odyssée, Lay has developed a distinctive voice bridging tradition and modernity. He currently teaches jazz piano at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, contributing to the training of a new generation of improvisers.
